Founded 2017 in Hamburg's HafenCity, starting as a space for art in all its forms. An interdisciplinary space for free creation and exchange, with the aim of bringing together as many artists, designers, and musicians as possible to work together on projects. We create, design and shape freely and without limitations. We believe in diversity and fully live this philosophy. After several exhibitions and numerous events that have repeatedly inspired and shaped ourselves and our reputation as a place for art and culture, the space itself has now also evolved.

The interior design of "raum" as well as all exhibitions and events have been developed by Carolin Balas Pavisic. In 2021, the designer and photographer shifted her focus to a new project: "raum" needed furniture that was both minimalistic and versatile, much like "raum" itself.
